70A NBR O-Ring Product Description
Circular Cross-Section Nitrile Butadiene Rubber O-rings with a hardness of 70A are designed for use in a wide variety of sealing applications. These O-rings are round in shape and provide a pressure and fluid seal between overlapping mating surfaces such as engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and cylinders.
NBR O-rings have good mechanical properties and high wear resistance, making them ideal for use in environments with petroleum oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, alcohol, mineral oil, and grease. However, they are not suitable for use with acetone, ethers, esters, ozone, sunlight, and weathering. Avoid using NBR O-rings in ozone-generating electric motors, welding equipment, or applications exposed to UV light.
