With a hardness of 70A, these NBR O-rings can withstand temperatures ranging from -4℉ (-20°C) to 212℉ (100 °C). They have a circular cross-section, making them ideal for a wide range of sealing applications. These O-rings are commonly used to provide pressure and fluid seals between cylindrically shaped mating surfaces, such as those found in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders.
Made from Nitrile Butadiene Rubber, these O-rings exhibit good mechanical properties and high wear resistance. They are also resistant to many petroleum oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, alcohol, mineral oil, and grease. However, it is important to note that Buna-nitrile is not suitable for applications involving acetone, ethers, esters, ozone, sunlight, or weathering. Therefore, avoid using these O-rings in ozone-generating electric motors, welding equipment, or in areas with exposure to UV light.
